Nos últimos anos desenvolvo projetos que propõem a discussão das mídias e tecnologias relacionada ao cenário brasileiro de arte e ativismo. Estas iniciativas sempre visionaram estimular a interação entre as redes, incentivando trabalho colaborativo e coletivo em festivais internacionais como Mídia Tática Brasil, Digitofagia, Arte.mov, além de publicações e laboratórios experimentais. Meu trabalho consistiu em juntar, organizar e produzir propostas concebidas em rede, desde a primeira década de internet no Brasil.
Fui criada numa realidade amazônica e vivi por mais de uma década na cidade grande de São Paulo, e entre essas realidades, investigo a colaboração criativa entre o Norte e Centro-Sul do país. Como imigrante nos Estados Unidos, participei do programa EMERGE NYC desenhado para artistas/ativistas/performers, vivendo uma jornada geográfica em experienciar um sistema de vida sustentável em moradas coletivas, e ações criativas entre Norte e Sul do hemisfério.
No retorno ao Brasil, fiz parte do programa anual Capacete, além de colaborar com iniciativas públicas e educadoras como CTO na Maré - Centro do Teatro do Oprimido na Favela da Maré, Labceus - laboratório de cultura digital realizado através de parceria com o Ministério da Cultura e com a Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), e comitê de seleção do projeto Casa Comum. Atualmente, desenvolvo pesquisa em teoria crítica de arte no programa de pós-graduação da Universidade Federal Fluminense - UFF/RJ.
Over the past years I've been working on projects to discuss media and technologies, mixing art and activism initiatives in the Brazilian context. These initiatives have always aimed at interaction with networks encouraging collaborative and collective work in international festivals such as Mídia Tática Brasil, Digitofagia, Arte.mov as well as in publications and experimental laboratories. My work was elaborating ideas managing projects, since the first decade of the Internet in Brazil.
I grew up in the Amazon reality, though I lived for a decade in São Paulo, and much of my work has consisted of collaborations to broaden creative exchange between Brazil's North and Center South. As an immigrant in the US, I participated in the EMERGENYC - program designed for artists / activists / performers, also inhabiting a geographic journey on sustainable living system at coop-houses, and creative actions between North and South of the Hemisphere.
On my return to Brazil, I participated of the annual program at Capacete, in addition to collaborating with public initiatives and educators such as CTO na Maré - Center of the Theater of the Oppressed in Favela da Maré, Labceus - digital culture laboratory conducted through a partnership with the Ministry of Culture and the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), and the selection committee of the Casa Comum project. Currently, I develop research in critical art theory in the post-graduation program of the Universidade Federal Fluminense - UFF / RJ.
